Brewing kicks off again on Sunday 22 May 2011.


It's Bharat's house so he has to do all the hard work.

John Dzelme, Phil Pawley & I are here in a supervisory capacity only.

Mini Keg

Time to crack open the mini keg.

There was plenty of gas vented when I opened the valve so the beer had come into condition.


It poured easily but not quickly under gravity.

So it keeps beer well while it is maturing & conditioning.

I'll issue updates on how well it keeps beer once it is open & if the kegs are reusable when I have answers to those questions.

Next Brewing Day

Look what I have waiting for brewing day on Sunday 22 May.


As it is bottle conditioned we could harvest the yeast to brew our own version of Summer Lightning.

If only I could think of something to do with the rest of the contents of the bottles...
