Christmas Beer

I'm taking the hit so you don't have to. It's time to take an early sample of the BAD Xmas beer. The good news is that there is no sign of the jam we were promised although the beer has some substance. It's not very lively but keeps a small ring of foam as I drink it. There's hints of dried fruit & liquorice swimming in brandy. There's a slightly sour smack & just a taste of nettles. It will go well with Xmas cake or pudding. It's definitely worth collecting your share.
